The cute story of a little boy whose kite gets stuck in a tree. He decided to knock it down throwing his shoe, but that gets stuck too… follows a session of most ridiculous object-throwing to try and get the kite down.
A story written in a most humorous and nice language. The illustrations are so simple yet so colourful and arty. The aesthetic of the books makes you feel like Oliver Jeffers just drew the pictures and jotted the lines just for you.
This books is our home’s favourite at the moment! The girls had me read it daily a zillion times! My eldest loves the increasingly incongruous situation. My little one loves the humour, just as I do as well as the great pictures. Also a nice book for children to pick vocabulary from.
