Hi, I’m Amy! Brought up as a trilingual child, my husband and I chose to educate our daughters as trilinguals too. What seemed to us as something as natural as a little jog, proves to be a marathon! This trilingual journey has been very rich and enlightening. I have grown quite passionate about the topic and I would like to share my journey with other multilingual families; because together we are stronger! :)

Working on #biliteracy skills. This morning I began labelling Lego blocks with a capital letter of the alphabet. This has created a lot of interest in my youngest as they are currently learning the majority language alphabet at school. I am very lucky, to have my eldest who loves teaching, and who enjoys playing with her little sister to teach her things. . . I intend to tag more Lego blocks with a small letter so I asked to turn the whole experience into a puzzle, as she had those puzzles. . . #learningisfun #alphabet #abc #learningthealphabet
🌟NOUVEAU POST! . . 👉Post complet sur https://bilingue.home.blog/2019/12/11/tu-lui-parle-en-anglais-tout-le-temps-tout-le-temps/ . . educationbilingue #bebebilingue #enfantbilingue #eleverbilingue #famillebilingue #apprendreunelangue
‪⭐🌟NEW POST!⭐🌟‬ ‪To raise or not to raise a biliterate📝📖 #bilingualkid? that is the question! Here is what goes in favour of it! 😉‬ . . . Excerpt: "When you start on the bilingual journey, you tend to focus exclusively on language acquisition. The reason being that you are either parent to a newborn -in which case the issue of literacy seems rather distant, or to an older child that you fear confusing with academic aspects of the minority language (ml)..." . . . ‪👉 Full post on https://ourmlhome.wordpress.com/2019/12/09/biliterate-or-not-biliterate-that-is-the-question/‬ ‪#bilingualeducation #biliteracy #raisingbilingualkids #bilingualparenting‬
